An exceptional and historically significant Australian trophy, the 1934 Melbourne Centenary Thousand Cup is a rare and prestigious piece of sporting memorabilia.

Crafted in 9ct yellow gold, the cup features a polished, tapered form with distinctive square tube handles atop an ornate wooden plinth. The piece is finely engraved:
