Overview

Two cushion brilliant cut diamonds are suspended at the base of articulated drop chains, each earring featuring three round brilliant diamonds leading from the post down to the cushion pendant below. The cushion cut is well-suited to a hanging setting - the soft square outline rotates gently with movement, and the brilliant facet pattern provides strong sparkle and light play. At approximately 0.96ct each (measuring 6.15 x 5.00mm), the cushion centres have genuine presence as the focal point. The connecting rounds in the drop chain catch light at each articulation point, adding continuous sparkle through the full drop length.



The cushion centres are G-H colour with I1-I2 clarity, meaning inclusions are visible on close examination - consistent with the slight internal characteristics visible in the photos. The diamonds remain lively and attractive. The six round brilliant accent diamonds in the drop chain are SI-I2 clarity and appear eye-clean at their 3mm size. From the photos, both earrings are in new, unworn condition with all stones present and secure. The yellow gold is stamped "585 D1.92ct D0.69ct" confirming 14-karat gold and stone weights. An independent insurance valuation (Karma Gems, April 2026) assessed replacement value at AUD $26,200.
