Description

A generously scaled cluster-halo cocktail ring built around a central emerald-cut amethyst framed by a diamond halo and surrounded by eight oval-cut amethysts in deep royal purple. The colour across all nine stones is a rich, saturated purple with good transparency - amethyst at its best presents a vivid violet-purple that holds up well in all lighting conditions, and this example delivers that character.


The design layers the elements effectively: the rectangular step-cut centre sits within a rectangular diamond halo, which is in turn surrounded by the eight ovals set like petals around it. A further 94 round brilliant diamonds in G-H colour and VS1-VS2 clarity are distributed through the halo, decorative gallery arches, and pavé shoulders - good-quality near-colourless stones that provide clean contrast against the purple stones. The open gallery beneath shows intricate arch-work set with diamonds, visible from the side. At 4.74 grams in 14K white gold, ring size O, this is a solidly made piece with good metal content. Condition independently graded excellent.
