Description

A very well-made pair of floral stud earrings in 14K rose gold, built around a four-petal arrangement of oval champagne-rose tourmalines with a diamond centre and a diamond outer border. Each earring has four ovals arranged like petals around a single bezel-set round brilliant diamond at the centre, with 118 further round brilliants forming a lace-like scalloped halo along the outer edge and at the junction points between each petal.


The colour of the tourmalines is the real attraction here. Champagne-rose is a warm, peachy-pink with salmon undertones - distinctive, wearable, and very much in favour with current jewellery buyers. The valuation certificate confirms nil treatment observed on all eight tourmalines, meaning they are in their natural post-cutting state. This is disclosed and worth noting, particularly as many tourmalines are routinely heated or resin-filled.


The diamonds are a good G-H colour with VS1-VS2 clarity - near-colourless, eye-clean, and lively. The rhodium-plated diamond settings provide white metal contrast against the rose gold body of the earrings, which is a smart design choice. Total weight is 6.08 grams. Butterfly post backs.
