Description / Overview:
A genuine one-family-from-new VK Charger 770 with strong provenance. The compliance plate has been decoded: Date 6/76, Option E28 confirming the factory 245 Hemi six, Trim C1 (brown), Body CC BERG4718. The engine, trim codes, and build date are internally consistent with a genuine 770 variant. The factory owner's manual is included, and the car presents as an honest, unmolested survivor throughout.
Inside, the brown 770 striped cloth seats are in remarkable condition under their long-term sheepskin covers. The dash pad is uncracked, the 770 instrument cluster with tachometer is complete and all gauges present, and the original Monarch AM radio remains in place. Headlining is intact. Rear seats are original cloth showing only minimal wear, reportedly never used. Carpet is original with wear consistent with 146,000km of use.
Exterior is honest about its years. Bronze metallic paint is original and solid across the panels but shows a patch of clear coat delamination at the roof/rear panel join and one active stone chip bubble on a body panel. The rear panel area between the bumper and tail lights shows surface rust, a known weak spot on VK Chargers. No dents, accident damage, or evidence of body repair were observed. The passenger door exterior handle is missing. Tyres are mismatched brands front and rear, with the front pair near the wear limit. Log books were mentioned by the vendor but not sighted in the photos.
