Description / Overview:
The FPV F6E was FPV's answer to the question of what happens when you take the turbocharged inline-six performance of the F6 Typhoon and wrap it in a more sophisticated, better-equipped package. Dual-zone climate, full leather, satellite navigation, digital dash, and all the luxury of the Falcon GT range, combined with the same howling turbo six under the bonnet. The FG generation was the best the F6E ever was, and examples with full history are becoming harder to find as the years go on.
This F6E carries Build Number 008, one of the earliest off the line for the FG series. It has been comprehensively upgraded with a big turbo, Garrett intercooler, 1,000cc injectors, surge tank, 9.5-inch rear wheels, billet-rebuilt automatic transmission, custom tailshaft, and a 3-inch exhaust system, all professionally tuned to produce approximately 495rwkW. That is supercar-level straight-line performance from a car that looks like a comfortable executive sedan from the outside. The original Vixen Red over black leather interior is in good shape for the indicated 123,700 kilometres, and a full service history from Metro Ford Brisbane through to Werribee VIC accompanies the car.
