Description / Overview:
The XC GS Falcon wagon is one of the tougher finds in the Australian classic car market. These things were worked hard, and finding a complete GS example with the 351 Cleveland still in place is getting harder every year. This one is honest about its condition, with surface rust and faded paint throughout, but all the GS-specific gear is present including the scoops, stripes, badging and full instrument cluster with tacho.
She needs a proper restoration, no question about it. The bodywork has weathered over the decades, and the door jambs in particular show the kind of rust that warrants a close look underneath before committing. That said, the interior has been retrimmed at some point and is in better shape than you would expect, the headliner is solid, and the 351 Cleveland fires and runs. At this price level it is a restoration project rather than a ready driver, but the bones are all there.
