Description:

1922 Ford Model T Tudor 4-Door - Black - I4 Petrol, 2-Speed Planetary Manual, Show-Quality Restoration, Comes with Matching Trailer

One of over 15 million Model Ts produced between 1908 and 1927, the car that put the world on wheels. Photos confirm this is a comprehensively and correctly restored example in show-ready condition throughout.

Description

The Ford Model T is the car that changed the world. First mass-produced on a moving assembly line, it came off the line in 3-minute intervals and brought motoring to the middle class. This 1922 Tudor (4-door) body style is the more practical configuration, and photos confirm a very high standard of restoration throughout.

The gloss black paint shows exceptional depth and clarity with sharp, undistorted reflections across all panels, consistent with a quality professional respray or very well-maintained restoration. All four doors are straight and correctly aligned with consistent panel gaps. The chrome radiator shell, hood ornament (temperature gauge/motometer), and headlights are all in excellent restored condition with good shine. The natural/varnished wood-spoke artillery wheels with chrome-trimmed outer rings and period diamond-pattern black tyres are correctly detailed and in excellent condition. The interior is retrimmed in beige/tan striped fabric bench seats with period-correct door card treatment.

The correct 2-speed planetary transmission is operated by floor pedals rather than a conventional clutch and gearshift. The Ford Model T V-angle flat four-cylinder engine is present and correctly presented in the engine bay. Owner's manual is included. Chassis number 5840896 is present.

The accompanying period-style trailer features a timber plank flat deck, matching gloss black frame, black-painted spoke wheels with aggressive tread tyres, and Ford-logoed stainless steel mud flaps at the rear. A practical and period-themed bonus to a complete package. Located in Thomastown, VIC.
