Overview

A one-carat oval diamond in a clean bezel slider setting on a 50cm yellow gold cable chain. The bezel setting is smooth and well-executed, framing the oval cut with a polished rim that allows the chain to thread through the integrated bail for a minimalist, slider presentation. The K-L colour gives the diamond a warm, slightly yellowish tone that pairs naturally with the yellow gold bezel rather than fighting against it. At SI3-P1 clarity, inclusions are visible to the naked eye - dark included crystals and some cloudy areas are apparent on close examination - though the diamond still returns light and displays the faceted brilliance of the oval cut.



From the photos, the necklace is in excellent condition. The bezel wall is engraved "D 1.01ct" confirming diamond weight. The open-back gallery beneath the bezel allows light to enter through the pavilion. The fine cable chain is 50cm with a lobster claw clasp. An independent insurance valuation (Platinum Jewellery Valuations, FGAA appraiser, June 2025) assessed replacement value at AUD $24,000. No individual GIA or laboratory certificate accompanies the diamond.
