Build number 0026. That means this is the 26th FPV Boss GS 315 ever produced. When you are buying an early build number car from a limited production run, that number matters, and this one comes with the console plaque right there in the cabin to prove it. If you want one of the very first Boss GS 315s off the FPV production line, this is about as close as you are going to get on the open market.
Under the bonnet is the 5.0-litre Miami DOHC V8 topped with an Eaton supercharger, rated at 315kW from the factory. The Boss 315 casting is right there on the supercharger manifold for anyone who wants to look. Compliance plate confirms genuine FPV manufacture (6FP VIN prefix), built September 2010. The ZF 6-speed automatic transmission backs it all up cleanly. At 102,027km, this car has been driven and enjoyed, but there is plenty of life left in that motor. Note that an aftermarket cone pod filter has been fitted and the original factory airbox is not present, a common modification on these cars.
Outside, the Lightning Strike silver paint presents well across all panels. No colour mismatches, no rust on any external surface, and body alignment is solid throughout. The FPV bonnet stripes, GS side graphics, and factory rear spoiler are all intact. Some light kerb rash is present on at least one alloy wheel and there are minor stone chips on the bonnet, which is what you expect from a car used on Australian roads. Towbar fitted at the rear.
Inside, the FPV leather is in good shape. Driver seat bolster shows age-appropriate creasing and sheen wear but no tears or splits. Rear leather is in excellent condition. The FPV instrument cluster, ICC touchscreen, FPV sill plates, carbon-look dash inserts, and the red start button are all present and operational. No dashboard cracking. Rear window sunblind present. Reverse sensors fitted. The documentation pack is outstanding for a car of this age: original FPV leather wallet, two service guides, and the owner's manual in its original FPV leather folio. One key only, no spare. FPV key replacement is expensive and worth factoring in.
