Description
The E3 Clubsport R needs no introduction in HSV circles, and this example ticks all the right boxes for a driver who wants to actually use one. Finished in Phantom Black with the full factory HSV body kit intact, she cuts an imposing figure from every angle. The 6.2L LS3 V8 is paired to a 6-speed Tremec TR6060 manual, a confirmed factory option and the spec that enthusiasts pay a premium for. The build plate confirms TRANS: M10 and a June 2010 build date, so no question on the gearbox.
The chassis has done 210,117km but the previous owner has fitted a replacement crate LS3 with approximately 18,000km on it, along with a new cam, lifters and oil pump. The engine bay is clean and well-presented with factory red strut caps and HSV strut tower brace in place. Two keys and books are included.
Full HSV E3 body kit is all present and correct, including the deep front bumper with LED DRLs, Clubsport-scripted side skirts, rear diffuser and boot spoiler. Interior shows wear appropriate to the chassis kilometres but no rips or tears. HSV instrument cluster and triple auxiliary gauge pod are in place, and the rear headrests carry the embroidered Clubsport script.
aftermarket multi-spoke alloy wheels have been fitted rather than the factory HSV items. A towbar is also fitted. A warning light is visible in the instrument cluster photos and its cause should be investigated before bidding. The crate motor claim cannot be verified from photos alone, so in-person inspection is strongly recommended.
