The 1969 Plymouth Road Runner is one of the most iconic muscle cars ever built. Plymouth stripped a B-body Belvedere to its essentials, dropped in a big block V8, and priced it where young buyers could actually afford one. The result was a sales smash and an instant legend. The convertible version was the rarest body style, with only 2,128 built for 1969 across all engine options.
