Description
The C3 Corvette is the longest-running generation of America's sports car, spanning 1968 to 1982, and the 1980 model carries a T-top roof configuration that is one of the defining visual signatures of the era. This particular car is a deceased estate project with the hard work already done under the bonnet. The original engine has been replaced with a GM Performance ZZ4 350ci crate engine, and a Turbo 700 automatic transmission has been fitted. The GM12464340 casting number visible in the photos is consistent with a GM Performance Parts installation. A Holley 4-barrel carburetor with air cleaner is fitted. A new ZZ4 crate engine alone exceeds AUD $10,000, so the mechanical foundation here represents real value within the project.
Vendor advises the engine and transmission carry low mileage since installation, and supporting mechanical work has been completed: brakes overhauled, front and rear suspension rebuilt, fuel system drained and flushed, carburetor rebuilt and tuned, and power steering work completed.
