Description
The Ford Capri Mk1 is one of those cars that gets better looking with every passing decade. Ford launched it in Australia in 1969 as a genuine affordable sports coupe, and the GT 3000 variant with the 3.0-litre Essex V6 was the performance flagship of the range. The combination of rear-wheel drive, the punchy V6, and the fastback roofline made it an enthusiast's car from the beginning, and the Super Roo Sports Pack option added the kangaroo decals, sports mirrors, and a visual identity that made these cars stand out on Australian roads. Surviving GT 3000 Super Roo examples are genuinely rare, and a car in this condition with this level of history attached to it is a compelling find.
