<b>Description</b><br>
A dynamic Art Deco composition centred on a cascading waterfall rendered with drama and geometric precision. An orange funnel-trumpet form at the top channels white drapery-like water that sweeps downward in broad, undulating folds. The surrounding composition is structured with bold geometric and curvilinear forms: radiating lines suggesting energy, stepped brick-like blocks in orange and brown at left, sweeping curved bands in pink, blue, olive green and brown, and a line of rounded spherical motifs along the upper edge. The bottom completes the piece with stylised wave forms.<br><br>
The aesthetic is strongly 1920s-30s Art Deco and Futurist, a departure from the purely architectural subjects of other lots in the same collection and the most dynamic and decorative work of the group. The medium is pastel or colored pencil with a soft, chalky texture carefully blended across the cream paper surface. Signed "ISHISHI" in red at lower right.
