MV Agusta Motorcycle - Red
Overview
An MV Agusta single-cylinder motorcycle finished in red. The fuel tank carries MV Agusta badging on both sides and "Campione del Mondo 1952" and "Campione del Mondo 1953" pennant decals on the top. The engine cases are cast with "AGUSTA" lettering. The motorcycle is fitted with a single sprung saddle seat in black, chrome handlebars with black rubber grips, a round chrome headlight, a red tail light, wire-spoke wheels with drum brakes front and rear, telescopic front forks with red shrouds, twin rear shock absorbers with exposed chrome springs, a chain final drive, a single chrome exhaust pipe exiting on the right side, and a red centre stand.
A round gauge is visible in the headlight nacelle. A fuel filler cap with an integrated gauge is fitted to the top of the tank. A "GRAEBEL" sticker is affixed to the rear mudguard beneath the tail light.
Condition
The red paintwork on the frame, tank, mudguards and side covers presents with a glossy finish. Minor chips and marks are visible on the rear mudguard near the mounting bolt area. The chrome on the handlebars, headlight shell and exhaust shows light dulling in places. The engine cases and crankcase cover present in bare alloy with light surface patina. The wire-spoke wheels have alloy rims that show light oxidation. The front and rear tyres appear to be Dunlop branded with visible tread remaining on both. The black saddle cover shows creasing and light surface wear. The cables and wiring appear intact.
